I always thought it was funny that people that like Star Wars thought of themselves as “outcasts”, “nerds”, and “loners”. If a movie franchise has grossed over $7B in ticket sales, my guess is that there’s likely more than one of you.
I’m guessing someone has at some point… but who are the people purchasing condoms in gas station bathrooms??? Who are the sales people saying to Gas Station owners… “You know what is going to be a big money maker for your store??? A Condom machine!”???
This last weekend, while getting ready to leave the house. My daughter was watching a show about business on PBS. I overheard some of the dialogue, and I quote: “ All businesses need to make a profit. That’s just the way it is.” I’m guessing the irony of that statement coming on PBS was lost on my daughter, but not on me. ( For the record, I enjoy PBS’ programming; especially those Wild Kratts).
After another WikiLeaks story, showing that our the US Government is spying on you via your smart technology, and has access, and control to these devices, how are we OK with Self-Driving cars? Much of the technology for autonomous vehicles is crowd-sourced, and let’s face it… if it’s connected to the internet… it can be hacked ( it’s proven all day, every. Single. day.) I can see why it’s an attractive technology, but it seems awfully risky on an extremely large scale (can’t imagine a terrorist trying to hack those systems…huh??)
A couple days back, while driving in my car I heard these songs on SiriusXM Lithium back to back to back: Tool- Sober ( right before walking into a meeting, which was fantastic), Soundgarden- Outshined ( likely my favorite Soundgarden Song), Alice In Chains – Man In the Box. A big thanks to them for getting me through my day!
