Why do millennials hate vowels? Do vowels trigger them in someway? Every new company, app, music artist, seems to think it’s best to limit their use, or eliminate them altogether. (They also really like arrows and ampersands.)

Many businesses are realizing they don’t need offices. There already have been large companies that have said they’re not returning to the office. Permanently. Alarm and office monitoring services are already seeing contract cancellations because the tenants aren’t coming back. Doctors have moved to telemedicine. Folks are realizing they are less stressed without a commute. We’re seeing dramatic lowering of air pollutants with factories shut down and road traffic reduced.
If you have an investment in commercial real estate, you might want to see what their vision of the future might be, and see if it’s worth sticking around. Have they accepted reality? What are they going to do about it? How will they transition?
When “Stay at Home” measures are lifted, there will be some folks that will rush out. Businesses will experience an initial boom ( think barbers, restaurants, bars, etc). Like a “hot” new brewery or restaurant, this will fade. There will be some people that just won’t feel comfortable being in large groups for quite some time. For some, there will be a lasting and understandable agoraphobia.
People aren’t going to want to take trips; especially abroad. The need for safety will outweigh the perceived benefit of the trip, due to the risks.
Businesses are going to look very closely at those consulting firms; you know, the ones that spend M-Thurs on the road; living in hotels, charging drinks and expensive food in fancy steakhouses to the client company. It’s not going to go unchecked anymore.
